Get involved

We need you! Community involvement is what makes the .NET Foundation such a resounding success.

There are four main ways for you to get in on the action: find a Meetup group, host a new user group in your area (we'll help!), and of course, join an active project that sparks your interest. There's no wrong way to be a part of the community, even if you just want to rock some merch or show your love on social!

Meetups and user groups

Host a meetup

That map above could always use more pins. If there's no active group in your area, no problem! You're the boss now. By hosting a meetup, you'll not only tap into talent in your area, you'll make new friends while impressing your boss and beefing up your resume. Win-win-win-win.

Contribute code

There are several .NET open-source projects that will expand the .NET ecosystem—and your skillset, of course. No matter your level of expertise, there's room for you to learn and grow alongside others who are happy to learn from you as well. Peruse the projects and see what tickles your brain. No judgment; sometimes you want to teach, other times you want to try. Either way, there's lots of room to grow.

Merch, gear, and swag.

Show off your nerd side—with pride! Support the .NET Foundation by rocking some gear and gifting it to your event attendees. And of course, since we're all about the open-source, you can totally make your own. Use our project artwork (creative commons, so no worries there) to get started, then show off your stuff with photos tagged with #dotnetpride. We'd love to see what you make.
